Back in March ’12, Edith was one of a select few who were lucky enough to be invited by Slow Fiber Studios to join Yoshiko Wada and Michel Garcia in Oaxaca, Mexico. Although the purpose of the trip was to take a closed workshop with Michel and film footage for NDW’s second dvd (just released as “Colors of Americas: on wool using sustainable methods”), the experience went far beyond. Special visits to important textile sites and creative centers, local families, farms — this and more.
